Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Hestora Limited uses cookies and similar technologies on hestora.net. For how we handle personal data more generally, see our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (such as your browser's local storage) work in the same way. They help websites function, remember your choices, and understand how the site is used.

The cookies we use

We keep cookies to a minimum. We currently use:

Name / typePurposeCategory
Consent preference
(browser local storage, hestora-consent)
Remembers the analytics choice you made on our cookie banner, so we don't ask again on every page. This is stored on your device only and is never sent to us.Essential
Form cookies
(set by chillipepper.online)
Our "Register your interest" form, and the sign-in form on our Resources page, are both provided by Chilli Pepper and may set cookies needed for the form to work and to guard against spam and bots. The Resources form is only loaded once you choose to sign in — if you just read the page, nothing from Chilli Pepper loads at all.Essential / functional
Remembered document details
(browser local storage, hestora-resources-known and Chilli Pepper's own store)
Signing in once opens every document in the library. We remember that on this device so you are not asked again. Your name and email are stored by the form provider on your device; this site keeps only a yes/no marker saying we already have them. Each document you open afterwards is recorded against you, using a hidden copy of the same form. The Sign out button on the Resources page clears our marker, so you are asked to sign in again; it cannot clear what the form provider has stored, so use your browser’s "clear site data" to remove both.Functional
VideoOur explainer video is served from our own site and does not set advertising cookies. If you click through to watch it on YouTube, YouTube's own cookies apply on their platform.Functional
Cloudflare Web Analytics
(no cookies, no local storage)
We count page views and measure how quickly pages load, using Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not fingerprint your browser or track you between sites, so it runs for all visitors and does not require consent. It reports only aggregate figures — page URL, referrer, country, browser and timing — and cannot identify you. See Cloudflare's statement on how Web Analytics handles data.Analytics (no consent required)
Microsoft Clarity
(_clck, _clsk, MUID and similar)
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our site — for example which sections are read and where visitors stop scrolling — so we can improve it. Clarity cookies are only set if you choose "Accept analytics" on our cookie banner. Before you make a choice, Clarity runs in a cookieless mode: it records anonymous page-level interaction (such as scroll depth) using a throwaway identifier, stores nothing on your device, and cannot recognise you across pages or visits. If you choose "Essential only", Clarity stops recording from your next page view onwards and never runs again on this device unless you change your choice; on the page where you make that choice it has already loaded in cookieless mode, so that one page view is recorded anonymously. Data is processed by Microsoft; see Microsoft's privacy statement.Analytics (cookies require consent)

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Analytics cookies are only used if you consent via the cookie banner.

Managing cookies

You can change your analytics choice at any time:

Clearing this site's data in your browser (or using private browsing) will also make the cookie banner reappear so you can choose again.

You can also control and delete cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you block or remove them. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site (such as the contact form) from working properly. Guidance for common browsers is available in their help pages.

Changes to this policy

If we add new tools that use cookies, we'll update this page and, where required, ask for your consent.
